Swapping on Moca Wallet Swapping on Moca Wallet is decentralized and cross-chain, allowing you to swap native assets directly rather than bridging them. Moca uses Maya Protocol and THORChain cross-chain technology on the back end to facilitate cross-chain native swaps.

How-to Swap on Moca App

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the Mocha App on your preferred platform

    *Available on web app and extension, android, and iOS.

  2. Go to the β€œSwap” section within the app

  3. Choose the asset you want to swap and the one you want to receive.

  4. Enter the amount you want to receive *Moca calculates how much you need to send based on your desired output. You can also set your preferred fiat currency, such as USD.

  5. Review Fees: Please check the fees before proceeding. *For more details, refer to the fees tutorial.

  6. Confirm Swap Once everything looks good, click β€œSwap.”

  7. Security Confirmation Depending on your setup, Moca will request biometric verification (such as Face ID) or your password to complete the swap.

  8. Track Transaction Once the transaction is completed, you can track the confirmations on the blockchain explorer for the network you’re using.

Notes Gas Fees

Please note that for every swap, you'll need the gas fee token of the network you're using. For example, if you swap between BTC and Radix, you’ll need CACAO, the gas token for Maya Protocol. If you swap BTC to SOL, you’ll need RUNE.

*If you're using Moca and need the required gas token, you can swap another asset for it. Unsuccessful Transaction

If an error occurs during a swap, you'll see a notification at the top with the error details. If the swap was submitted successfully but later shows as pending or unsuccessful, it will appear in your transaction and action list.
