MOCA Business

Crypto payments by default

MOCA’s Business division is designed to offer a comprehensive and streamlined solution for both online and physical cryptocurrency transactions, embodying two main pillars: MOCA Checkout and MOCA POS.

MOCA Checkout

We aim to be the PayPal or Stripe by default for crypto, providing businesses with a fully developed e-commerce platform for accepting cryptocurrency payments. This involves three important features: an API, webhook notifications, and subscriptions. Let’s explore them all!

1. API

This system pretends to have native payment options directly on Shopify and Woocommerce and an API that allows business owners to embed payments directly into their websites without displaying any MOCA branding, ensuring a discreet and professional look.

2. Webhook notifications

The platform will support webhook notifications that you can custom as you need, so you can stay informed about withdrawals, shopping cart updates, and payment completions. Additionally, we’ll provide IFrame integration, tailored to match business-specific parameters, ensuring a smooth and customized checkout experience.

4. Subscriptions

This is a subscription management that does not require access to the user’s account. This allows for flexible payment plans, such as prepaying for services like Spotify, e.g. We do not have access to your account, but we manage an address that takes care of subscription handling. If you want to pay for a year of Spotify, you send the equivalent of the annual fee to a vault. The advantage is that each month, the subscription fee is automatically deducted. If you are not satisfied with the service and decide to cancel after 3 months, you simply send a one-dollar transaction and the remaining amount will be refunded without needing to contact the business, and without any bureaucracy or intermediaries. This way, you can pay upfront without losing your money.

If you register to receive subscriptions for your business, the ideal scenario is that you don’t lose out if someone only subscribes for a month. The user has the flexibility to pay as much as they wish in advance. This is aimed at businesses that operate on a month-to-month basis.

MOCA POS

MOCA POS is designed for physical points of sale, kiosks, and catalog sales. In a nutshell: face-to-face sales. This solution provides:

  • Real-time financial dashboard: Manage all sent and received transactions to monitor financial activities in real-time.

  • Multi-branch/User registration: Seamlessly register and manage multiple branches or users across different locations for expanded business operations.

  • Smart payment QR codes and links: Utilize intelligent QR codes and links for lightning-fast payments.

  • Integrated payment splitting feature: Utilize a built-in Splitwise feature to simplify the division of ticket payments among multiple people.

  • Currency management: Handle transactions in the necessary currency without the need for businesses to hold funds themselves.*️

*️This is where MOCA shines! Businesses can choose which currencies to enable. MOCA steps in when, for instance, a business only accepts Arbitrum, but the customer has Kujira. As soon as the QR is scanned, MOCA will notify you that you don’t have enough but will let you know you have Kujira and can perform a swap. The swap is made instantly and sent to the Business.

Analytics is another crucial component of MOCA’s Business division. It offers robust settings and permissions management, enabling businesses to tailor the system to their specific needs. Features include batch sending for mass payments like payroll and customizable payment preferences for POS systems, providing businesses with the flexibility and control they need to manage their financial transactions efficiently.
